COURT IS CLOSED: GET YOUR FAMILY APPLICATION HEARD HERE!

The Calgary Court Centre is closed but where two willing parties want their family/divorce disputes resolved, we can help resolve them.

• The Arbitration Act of Alberta allows parties to appoint a family lawyer to be their neutral, “private judge” – i.e., their “arbitrator”.
• The arbitrator will work with you to determine how your application proceeds.
• You will be able to give evidence and make arguments. 
• The arbitrator will then issue a decision – an “award” – that will be enforced by the Courts.
• We can also mediate your disputes so you reach agreements rather than having them imposed on you. 
• We can help you turn your agreements or the arbitration awards into court orders.

We will protect you during the outbreak with the COVID-19 protocols recommended by the Government of Alberta.

We will facilitate in person meetings, teleconferences and/or video conferences, depending on your risk tolerance and needs.
